Fellowshipping In The Spirit At Hickory, North Carolina!

Pastor Ron was at all the meetings.
 
    Greetings brethren! God is good – all the time! On the week-end of May 6-7, 2006 we enjoyed the fellowship of the Holy Spirit at the Hickory SDA Church. Dynamic pastor Ron Patterson and his wife Susan and their children. Pastor Ron gave a powerful testimony of how the Lord has led him miraculously to preserve him for the ministry. There was good attendance and enthusiasm for the seminar. By Sunday morning the group had gotten 14 new Bible studies and Pastor Ron personally went to four of his neighbors and delivered the truth to them.

 

The church guided by Pastor Ron has paid for and delivered 12,000 Final Events DVDs in the Hickory area! On Sabbath and Sunday afternoon the church was mobilized and they distributed hundreds of copies of the book The Ten Commandments Twice Removed. With such work being done to spread the gospel the devil is sure to try and get his hoofs in the door. Keep Pastor Ron and Susan and all our pastors in your prayers as they work for Yahweh! Building on the Rock at Rocky Mount, North Carolina!

 

On Sabbath and Sunday May 20 and 21 we were blessed to share soul-winning principles at the Rocky Mount SDA Church in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. We had a very blessed seminar and Pastor Daniel Bran helped much with making it so. It was a joy to work with a young pastor who loves Jesus

 

 

And loves people!  Thirty-two people came back for Sunday morning and they completed the training course. Ten new Bible studies were gotten by Sunday morning. HalleluYAH! The graduates know how to get Bible studies, how to give their testimonies in an evangelistic way, how to lead someone to Christ, how to do friendship evangelism, etc.

 

Here are the group of graduates in a circle of prayer asking the Holy Spirit to fill them and give them courage for the work of soul winning! It was a pleasure being there with the brethren! HalleluYAH!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Letter from the Bermuda Conference President regarding postponement of the Bermuda Mission Trip

 

Dear Pastor Tony
 
We would like to postpone your Camp Meeting visit for 2006, and here's why. 
I may have mentioned to you that I would like to hire one or two
Caucasian pastors, as well as have one speak at camp meeting.  You
mentioned that your ministry at present may not be conducive to being
located in one area. We are looking at another pastor and have asked him
to speak at Camp Meeting.  We hope it will give him and us the
opportunity to see if there will be a lasting 'marriage.' Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience my delay has caused you.  I ask
your forgiveness.

THE DA VINCI CODE FAIRY TALE

Today there is an all out attack against the divinity of Christ and the Word of God. Not only is the divinity of Jesus now under attack, but so is His bloodline and His eternal existence as the second Person of the Godhead.  The attack is also casting doubt as to the truthfulness of the New Testament. We know that we are in the end of time because we are seeing attacks on the Bible, and on the Lord Himself! The Book The DaVinci Code exploded around the world selling over 40 million copies in 43 languages and has resulted in a major motion picture just released. It is the best selling adult novel of all time. The author of the book who has an agenda to discredit Christianity is named Dan Brown. He passes off his book as being factual and true, but it is based on fictitious gospels, forged writings, and rejected Gnostic heresies.

Brown poses as an expert on history, theology and art – especially the works of Leonardo DaVinci. But knowledgeable men in these fields are raking Brown over the coals for the books glaring errors. Brown even seems to have trouble with the rudimentary terms of art. In his book he refers to hand made frescoes. This is redundant because the work fresco means a work made by hands!

Regarding The DaVinci Code author’s knowledge of DaVinci, Dr. Jack Wasserman, a retired professor of art history, and the world’s leading expert on Leonardo DaVinci said, “Just about everything Dan Brown says about Leonardo DaVinci is wrong.” – The DaVinci Code Unscrambled 2/5/04 Chicago Tribune.

In his book Brown mixes truth with fiction –telling half truths so the fiction will sound like truth. This is what the devil did when he told Eve she’ll be as gods knowing good and evil if she ate the forbidden fruit. It was true, she learned good and evil, but she did not become like Yahweh!

Dan Brown is readily believed by those who are ignorant of the Sacred Scriptures, yet intelligent historians, theologians and art experts are barraging his ignorance of history, theology and art. According to the London Daily Telegraph of October 3rd, 2005 Brown is being sued by the authors of the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail written in 1955 and from which Brown heavily plagiarizes! Michael Baigent, the co-author of The Holy Grail said about Brown, “He wrote a pretty bad novel.”

In his fairy tale that he claims is true, Brown uses several Gnostic gospels and epistles like The Epistle of Barnabus, a 2nd century book attributed to Barnabus an associate of the apostle Paul. But Christians rejected it because of its anti-Jewish tone and because it had a false prophecy about the Jewish temple being rebuilt on its former site in 135 AD. Brown also uses The Gospel of Thomas which was a second century Gnostic book. Gnostics believed in merging pagan myths, and combining them with truth. They believed the God of the Old Testament was evil, and that another God sent Jesus Christ. The DaVinci Code is like the ancient Gnostic heresies that have come and gone. Satan has put a new face on old Gnostic heresies long ago rejected by the church. The Gospel of Thomas which author Brown seems to give much weight was an anti-woman Gnostic epistle. In that false epistle it says “any woman that makes herself male will enter the kingdom of heaven.” This is the kind of nonsense that Brown bases his fairy tale on!

To Dan Brown, the author of The DaVinci Code God is not the great Yahweh Maker of the heavens and the earth, but rather Brown’s god is creation itself. Pastor Rich Knight of the York, Maine First Parish Church wrote this: “Dan Brown’s use of The Gospel of Thomas sets forth pantheism, the notion that God is not a distinct personality or being, but just part of nature. These other Gnostic ‘gospels’ mix together pantheism, ancient paganism, and a platonic dualism, where the material world is an inferior illusion. There is also no theology of the cross and resurrection of Christ. This is a vastly different theology from what is set forth in the scriptures. If you read the Gnostic ‘gospels’ for yourself, you will see that they are very different from the four gospels in terms of content, quality, and theology.”http://www.firstparishyork.org/sermons/thedavincicode.html

Don Brown’s form of pantheism boosted by Hollywood’s hoopla and special effects may be the “Omega of apostasy” that Ellen White wrote of and said was of a “most startling nature.”

In the book The DaVinci Code, Don Brown alleges that Jesus was not declared God until the Council of Nicea in the 4th Century. He either is ignorant or chooses to ignore such Scriptures as John 1:1 which says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” This was written in the first century – three hundred years before the Council of Nicea! He is also ignorant of Hebrews 1:8 where Yahweh the Father calls His Son God. “But to the Son He says, “Thy throne O God is forever and ever.” This too was written centuries before the council of Nicea! It is obvious that Don Brown is either in total ignorance of the real Scriptures or ignores them because they disrupt his agenda.

In The DaVinci Code over 30 pseudo gospels and epistles are used, most written long after the death of those who were supposed to have written them. These false gospels were rejected long ago by the church for three reasons. The true canon of the New Testament had to pass three main tests.

1. Canonical books had to be connected with an apostle or written by one

2. They had to agree with the Old Testament.

3. They had to be accepted by the world church and not just a single man or group.

Almost the entire canon (approved books of the Bible) was completed in the 2nd century not in the fourth century as Don Brown suggests. Yet Brown puts weight on epistles like The Apocalypse of Peter which as previously mentioned were rejected by the church. The Apocalypse of Peter was proved to have been written 135 years after Peter’s death, yet Brown uses it as truth in his book.

Christians have the Bible which for this article I will call The Yahshua Code. In it we are told hundreds of prophecies of the Messiah written centuries before He came and which were fulfilled in the life of Jesus! Brown avoids this truth in his book because he has no answer for it! In the Bible – The Yahshua Code, we are told that Yahshua Jesus is the true Son of God – that He was crucified for our sins, arose the third day, ascended to heaven, and now  sits at the right hand of Yahweh our Father! He will come again soon!

The Yahshua Code says that “evil men and seducers will wax worse and worse.” It says “scoffers will come making fun of the coming of the Lord.” The Yahshua Code says, “like a woman in labor” the birth pains of a new world will grow closer and closer together until this world is delivered! We are living in that time before His return. It says that Jesus will come again to raise the dead and take them to heaven. The Yahshua Code teaches that God is not in the flower, but rather, YAHWEH MADE THE FLOWERS AND ALL CREATION and gave the Sabbath as a memorial of it!

The Bible – The Yahshua Code teaches that “God so loved the world He gave His Son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish.” John 3:16. We don’t have to try and find numbers or look for secrets hidden in Leonardo DaVinci’s Last Supper painting. We know the One who sat at the last supper and who is Lord of all!

In Dan Brown’s fairy tale there is no hope. There is no salvation. The Bible tells us that Yahweh our heavenly Father loves us and is gracious to us! There is no good news in The DaVinci Code fairy tale, but there is a glorious gospel in the Bible our very own Yahshua Code! Sorry Mr. Brown, but you can’t crack The Yahshua Code! Author Brown cannot attack the Bible directly, and ignores the resurrection, and he does not deal with the Ten Commandments or the Second Coming, or the state of the dead, or the sanctuary. Sad to say, multitudes have no more understanding of these important truths than if they had never been revealed. The masses of the people turn away their ears from hearing the truth and are turned unto fables. The apostle Paul declared, looking down to the last days: "The time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine." 2 Timothy 4:3. That time is here! The multitudes do not want Bible truth, because it interferes with the desires of the sinful heart; and Satan supplies the deceptions and myths which they love.

Yahweh will have a people upon the earth in the end of time that will maintain the Bible and the Bible only, as the ruler by which all doctrines are measured by. True believers are being tested. Will they believe fables, Hollywood hoopla, or the ranting of a liberal humanistic media? True believers will not accept the deductions of false science, or the creeds or decisions of ecclesiastical councils, no matter how popular they are regarded. Those who have tasted the new birth, who remember how Jesus changed their life! Those who have opened their heart to the Savior are the elect of God and Jesus said it is not possible to deceive the elect!  Those who know the Bible will not be deceived.

Don’t waste your time reading Brown’s book or seeing the movie based on it. Why plant error in your mind? Treasury agents study the real $100 bill, not the phony ones! – That way they can easily identify the counterfeit. Ignorance is no excuse for error or sin, when there is every opportunity to know the will of God.

Many Christians seem worried that this book and movie will undermine the Bible. But I say that there is no need to worry about that. This fairy tale book and movie won’t shake one tittle of the truth of the Bible. The Bible is the anvil that has broken many hammers through the centuries! Forty million copies may be good sales, and being translated into 43 languages is good. But the Bible – The Yahshua Code has sold more than 6,000,000,000 copies and it has been translated into not 43 but 2043 languages!

On the journey heavenward, let us not guess at anything. Yahweh our heavenly Father talks to us through His book – any time you open it seeking an answer – seeking comfort – seeking truth – He will never fail you! With divine help we are to form our opinions for ourselves as we are to answer for ourselves before God. Christ has given the promise: "If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine." John 7:17.

If the author of The DaVinci Code would have humbled his heart and sought truth, and searched the Bible he would not have ignored the prophecies of Yahshua Jesus written hundreds of years before He was born. He would not have denied the resurrection and the word of the Savior Himself. And he would not now be a tool used by the devil to undermine the faith of millions who know not the Scriptures! 

In summer there is no noticeable difference between evergreens and other trees; but when the blasts of winter come, the evergreens remain unchanged, while other trees are stripped of their foliage. It’s time to turn to Jesus – to surrender – to rededicate – to have a revival and get re-Bibled!
