Albermarle, NC Church on the March for souls!

Greetings brethren! On the week-end of April 8-9 we were blessed to share divine principles of soul winning at the Allbemarle Seventh-day Adventist Church in Albemarle, NC. The beautiful church is pictured, but more beautiful were the people who go there led by Pastor Jeff Villegas. This church has also sent funds to us to deliver the Doug Batchelor Final Events DVD to 40 pastors in Troy, Bisco and Star, North Carolina. They also have been doing door to door evangelism and thus far have gotten 70 Bible studies! During the seminar those who attended got five new Bible studies in just 5 hours of calling time! The Holy Spirit was there in a marked manner and four members including the pastor shared four powerful heart moving testimonies glorifying Yahweh and our loving Savior Yahshua Jesus. Thank you Albemarle church for your support and your enthusiam for the work. You inspired me!

With the great plans being laid and those already in operation, I believe good things for the Lord will happen in Albemarle Church!

New Great Controversy Week-end Added to This Ministry!

The Lord has impressed upon me to add a special seminar focusing in on the prophetic message we are to be preaching to the world – a message that I feel is being the devil is trying to water down and push under the rug. This week-end will focus on the prophecies and truths of the Three Angel’s Messages that we have been entrusted with by Yahweh our heavenly Father to share with the world!

BLESS THE CHILDREN AND PUT YAHWEH’S NAME UPON THEM!

The apostle Paul begins almost all his epistles with a blessing. Here are some examples:

Romans 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from Yahweh our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here Paul gives a blessing of grace and peace, which he also gives in the beginning of the following Epistles:

1 Corinthians 1:3 Grace be unto you, and peace, from Yahweh our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:2 Grace be to you and peace from Yahweh our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Galatians 1:3 Grace be to you and peace from Yahweh the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from Yahweh our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from Yahweh our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Colossians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from Yahweh our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Thessalonians 1:1 Grace be unto you, and peace, from Yahweh our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is the same for 2 Thessalonians, but in 1 Timothy the apostle adds mercy to the blessing

1 Timothy 1:2. . .Grace, mercy, and peace, from Yahweh our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.

He adds mercy to grace and peace also in his second epistle to Timothy, and also to his epistle to Philemon and Titus. The point is that Paul always included a blessing in his greeting.

Peter in his letters gives the blessing of “grace and peace be multiplied.” 1 Peter 1:2. In his second epistle he gives this same blessing. 2 Peter 1:2.

The “disciple whom Jesus loved” John also gives the blessing of “grace, mercy & peace” in His second epistle. 2 John 1:3.

The Savior’s brother Jude opens his letter with the blessing of “mercy”, “peace,” and “love multiplied.” Jude 1:2.

These blessing were all given from Yahweh the Father (Yahweh) and the Lord Jesus Christ (Yahshua the Messiah.) They were not mere formality but real blessings issued from these men of God.

There is power in a pronounced blessing when issued in Yahweh’s name. Remember when Isaac issued a blessing to whom he thought was Esau, but in reality it was Jacob in disguise? When Esau came in, he wanted the blessing, but it was already given by Isaac his father to Jacob his brother. Read Chapter 27 of Genesis.

Yahweh took very serious the words of the blessing the father Isaac gave to his son. Isaac could not even take the blessing back! As children of our heavenly Father, we too have been given instruction to “bless” our children and to put Yahweh’s name on them!

Here is the verse so often spoken without really understanding the significance of this holy blessing. It is found in Numbers chapter six. Here’s where we can truly see how putting the real name of our Father Yahweh in place of the title Lord which is also used for Baal! See Hosea 2:16-17 in a study Bible. A title is not the same as a personal name. True, titles offer honor as when someone says “Mr. President.” But the title President is not the name of the president. The personal name is George Bush.

In these verses in Numbers six you will notice that the word LORD is capitalized. This is where the Tetragrammaton YHWH is found in the Hebrew. There is excellent proof that this name is Yahweh pronounced Yah-way. This pronunciation is about 99.9 percent sure according to most Hebrew scholars. Study the issue yourself. Now notice the holy words:

Numbers 6:22 And YAHWEH spake unto Moses, saying,

23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,

24 YAHWEH bless thee, and keep thee:

25 YAHWEH make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:

26 YAHWEH lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

27 And they shall put MY NAME upon THE CHILDREN, and I WILL BLESS THEM.

Notice our loving heavenly Father told Moses to tell Aaron and his sons who represented the priesthood to bless the children of Israel with these words. Today the Father in the home is the high priest, and in homes where there is no father, then the elders of the church can act their part and give this blessing. Our Father takes these words and he says, “I will bless them.” Verse 27.

As in many Scripture verses, saying this prayer using the title “Lord” will eliminate the blessing because Yahweh said, “put My NAME upon the children.” He didn’t say, “Put one of My titles upon them.” Because something is new, does not mean it is not true. The Sabbath sounds strange to non-Adventists, should we stop teaching it because of that? Of course not, the sacred names may sound strange to some, but should we deny this truth and lose the blessings? As for me and my house, we say no. Truth is truth. When I find truth, I will treasure it, and share it, and not let it pass me or my house by.

As I was writing this, the Sabbath was ending on April 22, 2006. We close the Sabbath with prayer, and I as the priest of my family laid my hands on the head of my son and prayed this prayer over him:

YAHWEH My Father, bless my son, and keep him. Make Your face shine upon Him, and be gracious unto him. YAHWEH lift up Your countenance upon him, and give him peace. I put your name upon him, and I know that You will bless him because You have promised. In your Son Yahshua’s name I pray. Amen. (Num. 6:24-27.)

It felt great for all of us to be able to ask Yahweh to bless. He so loves us to do that!

It doesn’t matter what age your children are, when this prayer is prayed the blessing is evoked and hearts are touched. It is the same for daughters as well as sons. It’s still good in the Christian dispensation because we are told to bless. These  blessings can still be given, and our Father never changes and His Son Yahshua Jesus is the “same yesterday, today, and forever.”

Fathers, place this blessing upon your children whether they be four or forty. This would be a wonderful vespers for men’s ministry. The fathers could bless their children with this blessing, and the elders can bless the children of fatherless homes.

Signs that the Savior is about to return

1.                  Famines and pestilences of Biblical proportion. New and strange diseases that can become pandemic and kill billions. (Bird Flu?)

2.                  A world population that will in twenty years reach 14 billion! The world cannot even feed the six billion now! What then?

3.                  Church and state – The supreme court is now stacked with judges that will have no trouble passing a Sunday law or any religious laws.

4.                  Terrorism – “Men’s hearts failing them for fear.” Possible nuclear terrorism?

5.                  Terrible disasters like Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Rita, and a record 27 named storms, and the weather will continue to get worse and worse.

6.                  Global warming that is melting the icecaps – now absolutely proven, and the future effects will be catastrophic.

7.                  The gospel going to all the world like never before via satellite, the internet, infra-red radio, etc.

8.                  Attacks upon our Lord like the upcoming Davinci Code movie.

9.                  The false Ten Commandments being in brought before the people in preparation for religious legislation.

10.              Persecution against the truth such as the recent removing of 3ABN from Sky Angel.

11.              The devil’s success in removing the mission and message from many of our leaders and churches. Yes, many are still faithful, but no doubt the devil’s attack is against the message and mission of our church.

“When ye see all these things taking place, lift up your head, for redemption draweth neigh.” – Yahshua Jesus the Messiah

Yahweh’s Gift of Mother

This month we will celebrate Mother's Day. So in this newsletter I wanted to think a 1ittle about mothers, and the blessing they are to us.

Our heavenly Father Yahweh gave us Mothers to show us a glimpse of His love for us. Who can ever really understand what mother has gone through for us? Mother carried us around inside her womb for nine months; nursed us through countless colds, sicknesses, cuts, scrapes and wounded hearts. She dried our tears. She prayed for us and worried about us, and she sacrificed for us. Mother cooled our fevers, calmed our fears, took our side when no one else would. We can never get too proud for mother - she changed our diapers and wiped our noses! She knew us when!

The theologian Thackery said, "Mother is the name for God in the hearts and on the lips of little children.” Our parents, both father and mother are to be the ones who guide us to the Savior. What a sacred responsibility and wonderful privilege mothers have. In the book Adventist Home, on page 238, the Lord's messenger writes this:

"The Christian mother's work, if done faithfully in God, will be immortalized The devotees of fashion will never see or understand the immortal beauty of that Christian mother's work, and will sneer at her old fashioned notions and her plain, unadorned dress; while the Majesty of heaven will write the name of that faithful mother in the book of immortal fame.

In God's book of heroes, the name of the faithful Christian mothers will be written. Perhaps all of us can think of times our mothers sacrificed for us

I remember my mother wearing worn out dresses so that the seven of us could have new clothes for school. She worked on a frame doing beading every night after we went to bed to make extra money. Mother's have a great influence with their children.

In the book Adventist Home, on page 240, it says, "Next to God, the mother's power for good is the strongest known on earth.” There’s no greater power for good the servant of the Lord said than mother’s love! Right in the heart of the Ten Commandments, the first one in fact that deals with our relationship to one another on earth, Yahweh commanded us to honor our father and our mothers. I n fact, if children won’t obey their parents, they may never obey God! Heaven takes it very serious when children dishonor, strike, or disobey their parents. In Testimonies, Volume 5, on page 125, it states: “There can be no baser ingratitude than that of disobedience to a Christian mother.”

After our relationship with God, the most endearing and important relationship of all on earth is that of a child to his or her parents. There are some people who are not even on speaking terms with their mothers.  This ought not to be for Christians!

It is not good for us spiritually or physically to hold resentment or bitter feelings against our mothers or fathers, no matter what they have done.

If they have done evil, they are to be pitied and forgiven, if good they are to be honored, In both cases they are to be loved! Proverbs 15:20 says, "A foolish man despises his mother." Again in Proverbs 23:22, Solomon wrote: "Do not despise thy mother when she is old.”

Today we read more and more about children doing violence to their own parents, and we see everywhere the disrespect of those whom Yahweh has put there for children's good! Yahweh, our heavenly Father takes a dim view against and gives dire warnings to children who strike or harm their parents: In Exodus 21:15 it states: "He who strikes his father or mother shall surely be put to death.”

The good news is that if we have failed to honor our parents in times past, like any other sin, there is forgiveness In Jesus! Praise His holy name! Yahshua himself gave us an example of love and concern for mother. While He was dying on the cross, and suffering the most intense pain . . . While He was feeling the awesome weight of the sins of the world being placed upon Him and His separation from His Father because of sin, and while suffering the mental, physical, and spiritual anguish, He remembered His mother!

In John 19:26-27, it is written: "When Jesus therefore saw His mother, and the disciple whom He loved standing by, He said to His mother, ‘Woman, behold thy son.’ Then He said to the disciple, 'Behold thy mother,’ and from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.”

He saw to it that His mother's needs would be taken care of through His beloved disciple John. Do you know that there scarce was a great man that did not also have a great mother? On mother's knee, at the family altar, that is where character is formed! If a mother raises children that love Jesus and obey Him, they are a tremendous success! From the cradle up is where the foundations of life are laid.

Let's permit some great people give their testimony as to the influence of their mothers. Abraham Lincoln said, "All that I am or hope to be I owe to my angel mother.” John Wesley wrote: "My mother was the source from which I derived the guiding principles of my life.” Booker T. Washington said, "If I have done anything in life worth attention, I feel sure that I inherited the disposition from my mother.” The great inventor Thomas Alva Edison said, "My mother was the making of me . . . If It had not been for her appreciation and her faith in me . . . I should very likely never had been an inventor." Dwight L. Moody, the great evangelist said, "All that I have ever accomplished in life, I owe to my mother." Henry Ford said, "I have tried to live as my mother would have wished.  She taught me as a boy that service is the highest duty in the world.” George Washington: "I attribute all my success in life to the moral, intellectual and physical education I received from my mother.”

The closest thing we have, albeit a distant second to God's love is mother's love. The following true story typifies Mother's love. A pastor received a call from a new father. He wanted the pastor to be present when he told his wife that she had given birth to a beautiful baby boy. The baby was healthy, except the baby had no ears! The baby had the openings and all the inner ear parts necessary to hear, but no fleshy part outside. The doctors told the parents that the problem could be corrected when his growth was completed and a donor was found. School was very hard for this boy. Many times he came home weeping, "The children called me names and made fun of me.” His mother would embrace her boy and comfort him. This boy became and excellent student and went on to be a geologist and science teacher. During his last year of college, he received a call from his father saying, "Son!  We have finally found a donor.  The operation will be this summer.” The operation was a great success.  He was overjoyed.  His new ears were beautiful! He graduated with honors and moved to the mid-west to work. His parents were so proud of him and were there at his graduation. Years later he received a call from his father that his godly mother had a heart attack and died. At the funeral home, his dad called him to the casket, and pushed back his mother's hair to show his son something. His mother didn’t have any ears! She had given them, part of herself for her son! Her love and his great need was what prompted this act of love. That’s mother’s love! And it is wonderful! But God’s love is greater!

Jesus came and gave more than his ears, He gave all because we were in desperate need of redemption! He said, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down His life for His friends.” Yahweh gave us part of himself, His only Son because He so loved the world, that He gave! God’s love for us is many times greater than even a mother's love for her little helpless Infant! Turn with me to Isaiah 49:15: "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” We hear of mothers abandoning their children, but the Lord says I will never abandon or forget you! Jesus said, "I am with you always, even unto the end of the world."

Not too long ago I heard of New York City garbage-man finding a healthy baby in the garbage can! How could this be?  Human nature can do terrible things!  That baby's father and mother forsook her. But do you know that we never have to worry about our heavenly Father doing that! Jesus said in John 6:37, "He that cometh to Me, I will in no wise cast out." Psalm 27: 10 says, "When my father and my mother forsake me, Yahweh will take care of me.”

Your Father will never resign you to the garbage can! He so loved you He gave His Son to save you. You’re a child of Yahweh the King! He gave mothers love to show you a glimpse of His love for you. Jesus His Son laid down His life in willing obedience to save you and I! O how much God loves you. Accept His love and relish in it, and as you honor mother, honor the Father above who embodies love!
